This entry in Star Ace’s “Wonders of the Wild” series of ancient animals presented by Sideshow is the Coelacanth Statue, presenting a fish that has existed for 400 million years. Once thought to have been wiped out with the dinosaurs, living examples have been found much more recently. Living up to 100 years and growing to 2 meters in length, the Coelacanth can be found in waters off Africa and Indonesia.

The beautiful statue of this “living fossil” was sculpted by the artisans of X-Plus and Kaibutsuya and features a hand-painted deco based on recent photos of the live fish. This polyresin statue is 28 cm long and is mounted to an environment base with a nameplate identifying the scientific name and habitat.

In this alternate timeline reality, Batman is the leader of a rebel group called "The Insurgency", which opposes the dominance imposed by an evil version of Superman, controlled by the villain Darkseid. Alerted by the Flash, as he travels to the past, and with the help of a time machine called the cosmic treadmill created by Cyborg, Batman must use all his intelligence and detective skills to understand his sprinter friend's message to change that line temporal and save the future.

It raises its left hand just before swinging its Great Knife, signaling that it's about to strike. The Red Pyramid Thing's butcher outfit is covered in blood as it slaughters anything that dares cross its path.

The base is inspired by the carpet in the boss room in Lakeview Hotel where James Sunderland has his final encounter with a Red Pyramid Thing and faced off with not one, but two of these haunting entities. On the back of the base are nine red squares, signifying the clickable save point you find just before entering the boss room in the acclaimed survival horror video game.
