Clad in golden armor, the chalky-hued, red-marking-adorned Kratos is equipped with twin blade accessories. At the outset of God of War 3, Kratos participates in the Titans’ assault on Mount Olympus, in the course he is separated from Gaia and deposited in the River Styx and placed in contact with the spectral version of Athena. Battling and vanquishing a handful of deities, Kratos later learns of the continued existence of Pandora’s Box, contained within the Flame of Olympus, prompting him to seek out the box’s key. Learning that Pandora herself is the key capable of extinguishing the flame and battling the Titans to retrieve Pandora from the Labyrinth, Kratos succeeds in reacquiring the box only to ultimately discover that Pandora’s Box, previously used as a weapon against the gods, is now an empty vessel.

Adorned by iron-grey hair and beard, the saturnine, imperious-looking Zeus is fittingly clad in a voluminous white and gold toga. Declaring an impromptu truce with fellow deities Hades, Helios, Hermes and Poseidon, Zeus organizes a joint defense of Mount Olympus against the onslaught launched by Kratos and the latter’s vengeful allies, the Titans. Though Zeus generates a powerful lightning bolt to separate Kratos from Gaia---forestalling Kratos’ immediate role in the assault and sending the latter into the Underworld---Kratos eventually returns, killing Helios and Hermes in the course of his ascent. After Kratos retrieves Pandora from the Labyrinth, ostensibly to recover Pandora’s Box from the Flames of Olympus, Zeus intercepts Pandora and taunts Kratos into a malicious battle.

We're continuing our line of statues with a new series, based on specific cover images by Barks, and our third statue is inspired by, "Cash N' Carry." This particular pose of Uncle Scrooge was taken from Dell #22 from June 1958.
