Backstory:
Last descendant of the ancient kings, Aragorn is fated to one day claim the long empty throne of Gondor in Minas Tirith, should he prove to himself that he is worthy of the task. It is a post he never wanted, yet by his valor and nobility of heart, Aragorn is led to fulfill his destiny and to guide the people of Gondor toward their uncertain future. Before being crowned under his Elven name Elessar, the king in waiting has one final test to face: watching over the young hobbit Frodo Baggins, bearer of the One Ring and keeper of Middle-earth's fate.
In his years removed from society, Aragorn takes on the name of Strider, and traverses the outlying forests as a regarded ranger. Learning of Frodo's journey, Strider meets the young hobbit and his companions along their way and guides them safely to the haven of Rivendell, where they are joined by more companions and form the Fellowship of the Ring, fated with the burden of destroying Sauron's powerful ring. Aragorn and the Fellowship faithfully protect Frodo from many foes and perils, but Aragorn is ultimately unable to guard Frodo against the most dangerous enemy - the Ring itself. Although his heart is pure and his will strong enough to refuse the offer of the One Ring's power, Aragorn cannot promise to protect Frodo from other allies and friends who might be overcome by the temptation of the Ring. It is with a heavy heart that Aragorn allows Frodo to continue the journey without his protection. Backstory:
Hidden deep in the Peruvian jungles rests the solid gold Fertility Idol of the ancient Chachapoyan peoples. Deadly booby traps await any archaeologist or treasure hunter who finds the temple, and should one emerge from these tests alive, they stand to face the heavy guard of the Chachapoyan warriors.
Seeking the idol on behalf of the National Museum, Dr. Indiana Jones follows the research of Princeton archaeologist Forrestal to Peru and ventures into the Chachapoyan temple. Navigating the treacherous booby traps, Indy is able to extract the idol and narrowly escapes with his life only to have the idol stolen from his grasp by rival archaeologist Rene Belloq and a group of Chachapoyan warriors. Indy later recovers the idol from an antiquities dealer in Marrakesh and returns it to the museum.

As the head of Stark Industries, billionaire inventor Tony Stark is responsible for the creation of high-powered weapons used by the U.S. military. While demonstrating Stark Industries' latest design, the devastating Jericho missile, to troops in the Afghanistan desert, Stark's convoy is attacked, and he is kidnapped and taken to a terrorist hideout. His body littered with shrapnel from the attack, Stark's fellow captive Yinsen fashions a battery-powered magnet that will keep the shrapnel from reaching his heart, which Stark later exchanges for a miniature arch reactor powerful enough to run his heart for fifty lifetimes.
When the terrorists show Stark their stockpile of Stark Industries weapons, the reason for his capture is clear. They want the Jericho, and they want Stark to build it for them. Knowing that this will lead to his death and the deaths of countless others, Stark and Yinsen instead fashion a high-tech suit of armor to fight their way out.
Working furiously, the suit is soon complete. They set off a bomb in their small quarters as a diversion, and Yinsen sets out with gun in hand to distract the guards while Tony's suit powers-up. The suit in full force, Tony begins the escape, the metal shell easily deflecting heavy gunfire. Making his way through the twisting underground passages, Tony finds Yinsen mortally wounded and turns his suit's weapons on the terrorists. He ignites the built-in flame-throwers and destroys the stockpiles of weapons. Using the suit's jetpack, he blasts into the air, escaping the captive zone. High above the desert sand, the jetpack explodes, destroying the armor but leaving Tony alive to be found by U.S. troops. This rudimentary Mark 1 suit design would be the basis for Tony Stark's more advanced Iron Man armor.

Product Backstory
Cobbled together from scraps and salvaged parts, C-3PO is a fussy and worrying protocol droid built by the young Anakin Skywalker on the desert planet Tatooine. When Anakin befriended Padme Naberrie of Naboo, C-3PO first met her astromech droid, R2-D2. The two formed a fast friendship, working together to perfect Master Anakin's Podracer for an upcoming competition. The more experienced R2 told 3PO of the hazards of space travel, to which C-3PO proclaimed that he would never set foot into one of those, as he put it, dreadful starships.
Years later, C-3PO and R2-D2 would become the property of the Royal House of Alderaan, an influential family of nobles with ties to the growing Rebel Alliance. The two droids were aboard Princess Leia Organa's consular vessel when it was attacked by an Imperial Star Destroyer. The vessel crippled, Leia stored vital Rebel information in R2's memory systems -- unbeknownst to 3PO. R2 then took it upon himself to complete Leia's failed mission, though 3PO knew nothing of its details.
R2 commandeered an escape pod, and rocketed away from the captured craft, crash-landing on the barren desert world of Tatooine, returning C-3PO to his homeland. There, the droids were taken captive by Jawa traders, and sold to moisture farmer Owen Lars and his nephew Luke Skywalker. Determined to complete his mission of finding famed war hero General Obi-Wan Kenobi, R2 ran away in the middle of the night, leaving 3PO and Luke to search for him the next morning. C-3PO and Luke eventually found R2, as well as Obi-Wan Kenobi. This started an incredible chain of events that saw C-3PO catapulted into an adventure beyond his imagination.
About Fred Barton: Fred Barton is the Robot Man. Captivated by characters like Gort and Robby the Robot, Fred discovered a unique talent for model building and the fabrication of robot parts. In 1996, he began creating robots for private collectors and museums. Sideshow Collectibles is proud to partner with Fred Barton to bring new life to C-3PO and R2-D2, employing Fred's talents to create museum quality reproductions of the two most famous droids from the Star Wars galaxy.

Compelled by a dream and the request of his father, Boromir, heir to the stewardship of Gondor and the finest warrior of the realm, travels the long and weary road to the Elven haven of Rivendell. In the halls of the Lord Elrond, Boromir seeks answers to the riddles of his dream amid the collected relics of ages past and the quiet wisdom of the Elves. It is a quest of folly to Boromir, suicidal and ultimately vain, but abide by the decision of the Wise he does, swearing himself to the protection of the Ringbearer and joining the small company that must ensure his success. Boromir is noble and brave, willing to suffer injury and death in the service of freedom, but the thought of the Ring and its power, so foolishly refused, gnaws at him, invading his waking thoughts and occupying his dreams. Is this truly a gift to be scorned, or does the hope of Gondor's deliverance lie but a few feet from his grasp?
