This handcrafted Fokker Dr.I "Red Baron" 1/24 scale model is painstakingly built by our skilled craftsmen with a wealth of detail. The Fokker Dr.I triplane was a World War I fighter aircraft, which saw widespread service in the spring of 1918. It became renowned as the aircraft in which Manfred von Richthofen gained his last 19 victories. During 1917, the Sopwith Triplane began to appear over the Western Front. The Sopwith swiftly proved itself superior to the Albatros fighters which were currently in use by the Luftstreitkräfte. Fokker-Flugzeugwerke responded by converting an unfinished biplane prototype into the V.4, a small, rotary-powered triplane with a steel tube fuselage and thick cantilever wings. Instead of submitting the V.4 for a type test, Fokker produced a revised prototype designated V.5. Richthofen first flew the Dr.I in September 1917 and shot down two enemy aircraft in two days. Richthofen recommended that fighter squadrons be reequipped with the new aircraft as soon as possible.

This specific Dr.I is painted as Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen's plane or "Red Baron" as he was widely known. Richhofen was a German fighter pilot with the Imperial German Army Air Service (Luftstreitkräfte) during World War I. He is considered the top ace of that war, being officially credited with 80 air combat victories, more than any other pilot. Richthofen was shot down and killed near Amiens in April 1918. He remains quite possibly the most widely-known fighter pilot of all time, and has been the subject of many books and films.

This handcrafted Heinkel He-III 1/48 scale model is painstakingly built by our skilled craftsmen with a wealth of detail. The Heinkel He-111 was a German aircraft designed by Siegfried and Walter Günter in the early 1930s. Often described as a "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing", it masqueraded as a transport aircraft, though its actual purpose was to provide the Luftwaffe with a fast medium bomber. The Heinkel He-111 was the most numerous and the primary Luftwaffe bomber during the early stages of World War II. It fared well until the Battle of Britain, when its weak defensive armament, relatively low speed, and poor manoeuvrability were exposed. Nevertheless, it proved capable of sustaining heavy damage and remaining airborne. As the war progressed, the He-111 was used as a strategic bomber during the Battle of Britain, a torpedo bomber during the Battle of the Atlantic, and a medium bomber and a transport aircraft on the Western, Eastern, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and North African Fronts. Manufacturing ceased in 1944, at which point, the He 111 was used for transport and logistics.

The Junkers Ju-52, nicknamed Auntie Ju, was a German trimotor transport aircraft manufactured from 1932 to 1945. It saw both civilian and military service during the 1930s and 1940s. In a civilian role, it flew with over 12 air carriers. In a military role, it flew with the Luftwaffe as a troop and cargo transport and briefly as a medium bomber. The Ju-52 continued in postwar service with military and civilian air fleets well into the 1980s.

Though difficult to handle, to an experienced pilot it provided unmatched maneuverability. The Camel was a superlative fighter; it was credited with shooting down 1,294 enemy aircraft, which was more than any other Allied fighter of the war. It also served as a ground-attack aircraft, especially near the end of the conflict, when it was outclassed in the air-to-air role by newer fighters.

This handcrafted Sunderland Flying Boat 1/72 scale model is painstakingly built by our skilled craftsmen with a wealth of detail. The S-25 Sunderland was a British flying boat patrol bomber developed for the Royal Air Force (RAF) by Short Brothers. The Sunderland Flying Boat was one of the most powerful and widely used flying boats throughout World War II. RAF Sunderlands also saw service throughout the Korean War and continued in service until 1959.

The early 1930s saw intense competition in developing long-range flying boats for intercontinental passenger service, but the United Kingdom had no match for the new American Sikorsky S-42 flying boats, which were making headlines all over the world. Then, in 1934, Imperial Airways announced a competition between aircraft manufacturers to design and produce 28 flying boats, each weighing 18 tons and having a range of 700 miles with capacity for 24 passengers. The contract went almost directly to Short Brothers. Although Short had long built flying boats for the military and for Imperial Airways, none of them was in the class of size and sophistication requested, but the business opportunity was too great to pass up. Oswald Short, head of the company, began a fast-track program to come up with a design for a flying boat far beyond anything the company had ever built. The initial S-25 prototype first took flight in October 1937.

This handcrafted Nieuport 28 1/20 scale model is painstakingly built by our skilled craftsmen with a wealth of detail. The Nieuport 28 was a French biplane fighter aircraft flown during World War I. By the middle of 1917 it was obvious that the Nieuport 17 was unable to cope with the latest German fighters, in fact, the Nieuport was already being rapidly replaced in French service with the SPAD S.VII. The Nieuport 28 design was an attempt to adapt the concept of the lightly built, highly maneuverable rotary engined fighter typified by the Nieuport 17 to the more demanding conditions of the times. It had a more powerful engine, and a new wing structure – for the first time a Nieuport biplane was fitted with conventional two spar wings. Although very maneuverable and easy to fly, its performance turned out to be mediocre and its engine unreliable, and overall the type was not a success.

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! It's been a little while, but Koto's amazing X-Men Danger Room Sessions Fine Art Statue series is back! The last time we visited the X-Men training facility was with the Cajun hero Gambit, but now the mutants are more formidable than ever with their leader CYCLOPS! Scott Summers was one of the original five teenaged X-Men who trained with Professor Xavier, and ever since he's led X-Men as they fight for the survival of mutants everywhere. Cyclops is so named for his monocular ruby quartz visor; he can flip it open to unleash powerful optic blasts against his opponents! Being a long-standing member of the X-Men means that Cyclops has done a lot of training in the Danger Room. Ever since the early days of Marvel Comics' mutant adventures, "X" teams have trained together in the ultra high tech facility known as the Danger Room, equipped with state of the art adaptive combat and athletics routines that challenge each participant in unique ways. The training facility has been featured prominently in X-Men comics over the years, as well as in various cartoons and the third X-Men film.

Celebrating the classic look of Scott Summers from the Jim Lee era of the early 1990s, the mutant leader and tactical genius prepares an optic blast for whatever the Danger Room can throw at him. Cyclops wears what many consider to be his coolest costume, a sleek blue bodysuit with bright yellow accessories like trunks, gloves, boots, harness, and a variety of belts. While not always the most physically imposing X-Man, "Slim" here shows that he's been working out with a powerful physique and tensed muscles. Cyclops leans forward with arms outstretched at his sides in a classic pose that means he's about to unleash a blast of massive concussive force. The mutant leader has all of the fine attention to detail you've come to know and love from the Danger Room Sessions series, especially in the nuances of his costume. Each belt and strap is individually sculpted along with pouches and "X" symbols. Cyclops has an excellent head sculpt that captures the hero's ferocious intensity as well as his windblown brown hair.

Sculpted by Erick Sosa, Cyclops stands 10 ½ inches tall in 1/6th scale with the other Danger Room Sessions members like Psylocke, Wolverine, and Colossus. Also like them, Scott Summers stands on a unique Danger Room holographic environment; this one features half of a smashed Sentinel head! No Danger Room set or Cyclops collection would be complete without this amazing Fine Art Statue.
