At an early age, it was evident that there was a dark will behind young Veradun's sensitivity to the Force (TM). As the first ever tank in the lineup, the arrival of Dragon’s 1/6 scale Panzer II Ausf.B tank in its Action Figure collection created a lot of excited chatter worldwide. Now Dragon has doubled the number of Panzer IIs available because it is releasing a second variant! This time it’s a Panzer II Ausf.C, a type that was produced by Germany from June 1938 through to April 1940. It was operated by a crew of three, and the Ausf.C was the most common variant of the Panzer II family. In the turret were a 20mm KwK.30 cannon and a 7.92mm MG34 machine gun. Up-armored Panzer II Ausf.C tanks were in the forefront of the German invasion of France in 1940, while a number were also dispatched to North Africa to fight with the legendary Deutsches Afrika Korps (DAK).

As an Action Figure item, the tank is fully pre-painted and essentially preassembled. Owing to its DAK usage, the impressive model is finished in a desert yellow camouflage scheme suitable for North African combat. Even though the original tank was diminutive in size, this model built to 1/6 scale has a significant presence. Appropriate Dragon crew figures can also be matched with this tank. Details are accurately represented, and there are numerous new components such as the cupola, turret, glacis plate and engine deck. The turret rotates, the gun elevates and depresses, plus the commander’s hatch can open, just perfect for fitting a tank crewman in the hatch. In service, the D.VII quickly proved itself to be a formidable aircraft, it proved to have many important advantages over the Albatros and Pfalz scouts. Unlike the Albatros scouts, the D.VII could dive without any fear of structural failure. It was also noted for its high maneuverability and ability to climb at high angles of attack, its remarkably docile stall, and its reluctance to spin. It could literally "hang on its prop" without stalling for brief periods of time, spraying enemy aircraft from below with machine gun fire. These handling characteristics contrasted with contemporary scouts such as the Camel and SPAD, which stalled sharply and spun vigorously.

The Junkers Ju-52, nicknamed Auntie Ju, was a German trimotor transport aircraft manufactured from 1932 to 1945. It saw both civilian and military service during the 1930s and 1940s. In a civilian role, it flew with over 12 air carriers. In a military role, it flew with the Luftwaffe as a troop and cargo transport and briefly as a medium bomber. The Ju-52 continued in postwar service with military and civilian air fleets well into the 1980s.

This handcrafted Sunderland Flying Boat 1/72 scale model is painstakingly built by our skilled craftsmen with a wealth of detail. The S-25 Sunderland was a British flying boat patrol bomber developed for the Royal Air Force (RAF) by Short Brothers. The Sunderland Flying Boat was one of the most powerful and widely used flying boats throughout World War II. RAF Sunderlands also saw service throughout the Korean War and continued in service until 1959.

The early 1930s saw intense competition in developing long-range flying boats for intercontinental passenger service, but the United Kingdom had no match for the new American Sikorsky S-42 flying boats, which were making headlines all over the world. Then, in 1934, Imperial Airways announced a competition between aircraft manufacturers to design and produce 28 flying boats, each weighing 18 tons and having a range of 700 miles with capacity for 24 passengers. The contract went almost directly to Short Brothers. Although Short had long built flying boats for the military and for Imperial Airways, none of them was in the class of size and sophistication requested, but the business opportunity was too great to pass up. Oswald Short, head of the company, began a fast-track program to come up with a design for a flying boat far beyond anything the company had ever built. The initial S-25 prototype first took flight in October 1937.

This handcrafted Nieuport 28 1/20 scale model is painstakingly built by our skilled craftsmen with a wealth of detail. The Nieuport 28 was a French biplane fighter aircraft flown during World War I. By the middle of 1917 it was obvious that the Nieuport 17 was unable to cope with the latest German fighters, in fact, the Nieuport was already being rapidly replaced in French service with the SPAD S.VII. The Nieuport 28 design was an attempt to adapt the concept of the lightly built, highly maneuverable rotary engined fighter typified by the Nieuport 17 to the more demanding conditions of the times. It had a more powerful engine, and a new wing structure – for the first time a Nieuport biplane was fitted with conventional two spar wings. Although very maneuverable and easy to fly, its performance turned out to be mediocre and its engine unreliable, and overall the type was not a success.

This handcrafted Fokker Dr.I "Red Baron" 1/20 scale model is painstakingly built by our skilled craftsmen with a wealth of detail. The Fokker Dr.I triplane was a World War I fighter aircraft, which saw widespread service in the spring of 1918. It became renowned as the aircraft in which Manfred von Richthofen gained his last 19 victories. During 1917, the Sopwith Triplane began to appear over the Western Front. The Sopwith swiftly proved itself superior to the Albatros fighters which were currently in use by the Luftstreitkräfte. Fokker-Flugzeugwerke responded by converting an unfinished biplane prototype into the V.4, a small, rotary-powered triplane with a steel tube fuselage and thick cantilever wings. Instead of submitting the V.4 for a type test, Fokker produced a revised prototype designated V.5. Richthofen first flew the Dr.I in September 1917 and shot down two enemy aircraft in two days. Richthofen recommended that fighter squadrons be reequipped with the new aircraft as soon as possible.

This specific Dr.I is painted as Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen's plane or "Red Baron" as he was widely known. Richhofen was a German fighter pilot with the Imperial German Army Air Service (Luftstreitkräfte) during World War I. He is considered the top ace of that war, being officially credited with 80 air combat victories, more than any other pilot. Richthofen was shot down and killed near Amiens in April 1918. He remains quite possibly the most widely-known fighter pilot of all time, and has been the subject of many books and films.
