Miss Mindy creates in her home studio in Eagle Rock, CA., with her artist husband Rick O’Brien and their bi-lingual circus dog ‘Radio.’

‘Cartoon Folk Art’ is how she describes her fine artwork, which ranges from fluid ink work to hand-crafted, dimensional ‘Pop UP’ paintings. Most recently, she has gained notoriety for her custom vinyls and one of a kind sculptures.

Born into a big-hearted family of artists and designers, Miss Mindy was always surrounded by creativity. Her biggest inspiration was her grandmother Mary, who worked as an ink and paint girl at Disney in the 1930’s on Snow White & Pinocchio, wore bright red lipstick and tiny polyester suits. Her Sister, CJ Metzger is also a tremendous ‘paint-ress’, fellow collaborator and muse. Miss Mindy’s Husband Rick, is also an amazing fine artist, but as for the miniature sets & Disney lovers, they know him as Ahab’s Shipyard…

Miss Mindy has been a prolific professional artist for many years. She continues to paint commissions for her private collectors, and showcase her paintings and sculpture, whilst Character designing for animation studios like Disney, WildBrain, Warner Brothers and Cartoon Network. She and her husband directed her own cartoon with Nickelodeon Animation, and has some treats in store for the future! Aside from Animation, Miss Mindy also creates illustrations and products for Mattel, Hard Rock café, Zippo, and many others. She has also written and illustrated two books with Baby Tattoo Books Publishing and recently designed her own line of vinyl toys with Disney Vinylmation.

Currently, Miss Mindy is painting commissions, Paintings & original Sculpture for select Galleries and creating a line of her ‘style twist’ on the beloved Disney and Warner Bros Characters! The WORLD OF MISS MINDY has now made it’s way to the world stage… This is being done with the lovely folks at Disney and Enesco……”going into a co-brand with these guys has been pretty dang exciting! -MM” They have currently hit the shelves and are making their way around the planet!

Designed in 1984 by Egon Spengler and Ray Stantz, the nuclear powered Proton Pack counters the negative energy of ghosts with a proton stream of positively charged ions. Cast from an original "Hero" prop, ANOVOS is proud to offer the ultimate collectible for Ghostbusters fans, the GHOSTBUSTERS™: Spengler Legacy Proton Pack.
In June of 2017 ANOVOS was granted permission by Sony, Sony Archives, and Ghostcorp to mold and cast the original Dr. Spengler Hero Proton Pack (named this because of the "Spengler" annotation written on the back of the piece). This monumental opportunity kickstarted a flurry of activity bringing together the best and the brightest of Ghostbusters prop building community to aide in the meticulous molding of a highly revered piece of cinematic history.
Using only the best molding techniques and the finest of platinum silicones to minimize mold shrinkage, our team employed ingenious techniques to painstakingly capture every detail, warp, and crack of the original Spengler pack.
Upon completion of the molding process and returning the original pack to the Archives, the same team took to the careful process of recreating the “master” paint sample. Matching the actual pack, the movie replica recreates the same textures and weathered appearance dent for dent and scratch for scratch befitting the Legacy replica standard.
