The Headless Horseman - a legendary headless apparition from beyond the grave, who rides at night on a black steed seeking revenge in the Westchester County hamlet of Sleepy Hollow. The ghost of a Hessian sent by the British during the revolutionary war, when redcoats caught him and decapitated him with his own sword. After the brutal decapitation of 3 townsfolk, Ichabod Crane is sent to Sleepy Hollow to investigate, with all clues leading to the mysterious Tree of the Dead.
This magnificent Headless Horseman statue stands a full 20" tall, and portrays the Horseman striding forward sword and axe in hand. Meticulously detailed it comes complete with a Tree of the Dead themed base, and is constructed from heavyweight polystone which is then hand painted to the finest detail. The removable skull allows it to be displayed with or without the skull head.
