Andrew Probert's fascinating design for the Enterprise-C was a diff erent starship to the one that eventually appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation. Probert's Enterprise-C became part of the Star Trek mythos when it appeared as one of the ship sculptures on an Enterprise-D observation lounge wall.
