Stormtroopers are one of the most recognized symbols of Palpatine's mighty Imperial forces. Legions of troops occupied worlds throughout the galaxy, from the vacuum of space to the frigid ice planet Hoth to the desert climate of Tatooine. The Empire trained specialized units equipped to withstand the many diverse climates of the known universe, all to maintain tyrannical order through the galaxy.

Sandtroopers were specialized Stormtroopers deployed to Tatooine in search of droids C-3PO and R2-D2. Their armor, although visually similar to standard Imperial Stormtroopers, had an advanced cooling system in both helmet and suit, necessary for such a harsh climate. With helmets only slightly different in markings, Sandtroopers are most notably distinguished by their shoulder pauldrons, with different colors denoting rank.

What better way to end the Stormtrooper variations of precision cast helmets than with the Sandtrooper? We already have the Stormtrooper and Blackhole "Shadow" Trooper helmets. I guess it would be really cool if eFX gave us a red Magna Trooper helmet in this line of precision cast helmets, but maybe the Snowtrooper or Biker Scout would sell better.

These helmets are made to give a casual person the chance to own an iconic helmet and not pay the Hutt's all you have saved.

This is a great helmet for display purposes only. Be forewarned that the weathering on this helmet does scratch off very easily. Over time with lots of handling the weathering will slowly disappear, best if used as a display piece.
