A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! In 1984's Secret Wars storyline by Marvel Comics, Spider-Man's original blue and red costume was damaged. He found a gooey black substance that flowed over the hero's body, creating a black and white costume that seemed too good to be true. A few months later, it was revealed that the substance was actually an alien parasite! After Spider-Man rejected it, the parasite joined with disgraced reporter Eddie Brock to become the monstrous VENOM.
Kotobukiya is proud to present Venom as you've never seen him before. The first in a new lineup of Marvel Villains, the alien parasite is captured stalking his prey with wicked claws at the ready and his signature toothy grin splitting his face. Though Venom is static and calm on the surface, inside you know he's up to no good. The black costume is visually striking with dark blue accents and set off by the white sections on Venom's face, chest, back, and hands. Every inch of the villain's hulking musculature is sculpted to perfection, as are the details of his horrific open mouth.
Venom is absolutely massive at 13 inches tall, dominating the Marvel Comics Kotobukiya Collection of Fine Art Statues. He stands atop a specially-designed circular base that lights up with interior LEDs, further enhancing the display options of this amazing villain. The vampire-hunting Daywalker, played by Wesley Snipes, is reproduced with incredible attention to detail in cold cast porcelain at 1/6 scale, measuring over 10 inches tall.
A popular anti-hero comic book character since his debut in 1973, Blade has all of the vampire's best features and none of its weaknesses. The 1998 film catapulted the Daywalker to mainstream fame, thanks to Snipes' serious portrayal of the hero. Sculpted by Shunji Hagii, the Blade Fine Art Bust captures the character in an iconic pose as he draws his vampire-killing sword from a hidden sheath inside his jacket. The likeness of Wesley Snipes is incredible, and features two swappable heads - one normal and one with fangs bared. Also included are Blade's signature sunglasses for daytime adventures.

The beautiful mutant sorceress, and daughter of the incomparable Magneto, Wanda Maximoff exemplifies the Japanese Bishoujo (pretty girl) style, and was designed by the incomparable illustrator Shunya Yamashita! Fans should be familiar with Yamashita-sensei's style as Japan's leading Bishoujo artist from his art books, video game work, as well as multiple figural collaborations with Kotobukiya.
The Scarlet Witch is resplendent in her signature color, with ruby-red bodysuit, gloves, boots, cape, and headdress. She leaps right off of the comic book page in a relaxed flying pose, while she coyly points to her lips in a sultry manner. Her excellent sculpt highlights the details of her clothing as well as her long, flowing brown hair. The sorceress has a beautiful Bishoujo-styled facial sculpt complete with ruby lipstick and bright green eyes.
Standing at approximately 7 1/2" tall (in 1/8-scale with the other Marvel Bishoujo statues) , the Scarlet Witch was sculpted by Koei Matsumoto. Packaged in an attractive window box, the sexy sorceress is constructed of high-quality PVC plastic.

"The Seawolf class attack submarine (SSN) was the intended successor to the Los Angeles class, ordered at the end of the Cold War in 1989. At one time, an intended fleet of 29 submarines was to be built over a ten-year period, later reduced to twelve. The end of the Cold War and budget constraints led to the fleet being canceled at three boats in 1995, and led to the design of the smaller Virginia class. They are quieter than the previous Los Angeles class submarines, larger, faster, have twice as many torpedo tubes for a total of 8, and carry more weapons, but were also much more expensive. They were intended to combat the then-threat of large numbers of advanced Soviet ballistic-missile submarines in deep ocean, such as the Typhoon class, and to reply to the new Soviet Akula class attack submarines. They were built using HY-100 steel rather than HY-80 steel which is what previous classes had used. However they also have extensive equipment for shallow-water operations, including a floodable silo capable of deploying eight combat swimmers and their equipment at once. The boats can also carry up to 50 UGM-109 Tomahawk cruise missiles for attacking land and shipping targets. "

The Mercury Seven was the group of seven Mercury astronauts picked by National Aeronautics and Space Administration in April 1959. They are also referred to as the Original Seven and Astronaut Group 1. This was the only astronaut group with members that flew on all NASA manned spacecraft of the 20th century, including the Space Shuttle with John Glenn's flight on STS-95. The astronauts wrote first-hand accounts of their selection and preparation for the Mercury missions in the 1962 book We Seven. In 1979 Tom Wolfe published a less sanitized version of their story in The Right Stuff. Wolfe's book was the basis for the popular film directed by Philip Kaufman.
