Illyana Nikolievna Rasputina was born on the Soviet collective farm called the Ust-Ordynski Collective near Lake Baikal in Siberia where she was the youngest of three mutant siblings. Illyana's brothers were the X-Man, Piotr - the X-Man member Colossus, and the cosmonaut, Mikhail.

Somehow, Miss Locke captured Illyana along with several other of the X-Men's loved ones until they rescued her leader Arcade from Dr. Doom. After they were freed, Colossus allowed his sister to stay in the United States with Professor Charles Xavier. After attempting to rescue Sunspot and Magma from the Gladiators, Illyana was taken away by Magneto, per Prof. Xavier's request, to battle the Beyonder, where the Beyonder briefly transferred Illyana's powers to Kitty Pryde. Upon returning, the Beyonder brought-out Illyana's dark half, the Darkchilde.

Darkchilde teleported her friends to Limbo and attacked them until Kitty used Illyana's Soulsword and returned her to her natural form. Upon returning, Illyana again battled the Gladiators for Sunspot and Magma but learned that they were being held by a former New Mutant, Karma. After tracking Karma to Madripoor, then Cairo, the New Mutants were joined by Storm and all of them were possessed by Karma, save Illyana, Warlock, and Mirage. Illyana and Mirage escaped in one of Illyana's teleportation discs to a possible future where the New Mutants were evil and murdering pawns of Karma. They returned and after Mirage was possessed, Illyana and Warlock released Karma of the Shadow King who was controlling her and Karma defeated him on the Astral Plane.

Later, Amora the Enchantress kidnapped the New Mutants to Asgard. While attempting to escape, Magik used her teleportation discs and the Enchantress' magics affected the destination and the New Mutants were separated through time and space. Illyana, though, never left and was a subject of interest for Amora. Amora sensed her magic and separated the Darkchilde from Illyana, sending Darkchilde to gather the other New Mutants as head of her Nightgaunts. After the New Mutants defeated Amora, Illyana sent her to Limbo, and the X-Men rescued Illyana and her teammates.

Marvel Beast Comiquette Polystone Statue by Sideshow Collectibles

Marvel Beast Comiquette Polystone Statue by Sideshow Collectibles

Joining the Sideshow Collectibles Marvel line is the Beast Comiquette, featuring Henry "Hank" McCoy deep in thought. Each piece is individually painted and finished with its own unique quality and detail that is the trademark of a handcrafted Sideshow Collectibles product. The Beast Comiquette is the perfect addition to any Marvel display.

While working at a nuclear power plant, Norton McCoy was exposed to massive amounts of radiation that affected his genes. As a result, Norton's son, Henry "Hank" McCoy, was born a mutant who showed the signs of his being different from birth with his unusually large hands and feet. As a youth, Hank's freakish appearance was the subject of much ridicule from his classmates, earning him the nickname of Beast.

In his senior year, Hank's superhuman agility and athletic prowess earned him recognition as a star football player. During one game, Hank easily stopped a trio of robbers who were attempting to escape across the football field. His efforts were noticed by the villain named the Conquistador who kidnapped Hank's parents in an effort to coerce the young mutant into working for him. The X-Men soon arrived and defeated the villain, and Hank was invited by Professor Charles Xavier to join the team of teenage mutant heroes and enroll in the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. A brilliant student, Hank completed his doctoral studies under Xavier's tutelage, and finally graduated from the Xavier School to take a position at the Brand Corporation as a genetic researcher under Doctor Carl Maddicks.

During one of his experiments, Hank discovered the hormonal extract that causes genetic mutation and went to inform Maddicks of his findings. However, Maddicks was secretly plotting to steal top-secret government documents, and Hank took it upon himself to stop Maddicks. In order to disguise his appearance, Hank took the extract and underwent radical physical changes that enhanced his agility and strength, as well as causing him to grow fangs, pointed ears, and fur all over his body. When he stayed too long in this state, Hank found he could not return to his original form. He was now a beast in fact as well as in name.

After receiving his doctorate in genetics and being considered one of the world's experts on mutations and evolutionary human biology, despite never having earned a Nobel Prize or been invited to join the National Academy of Sciences, Hank left Brand and applied to join the ranks of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, the Avengers. Initially accepted as a probationary member, Hank soon proved his worth and was granted full membership.

Elvis Presley cast a long shadow; the longest in the history of popular music. The Guinness Book of World Records lists The Man from Tupelo as the most successful solo recording artist of all time, with more than 170 hit singles (including 107 Top Forty hits and 17 Number One hits), and 80-plus top-selling albums. Presley's recording laurels also include most consecutive #1 hits (10), and the most weeks at #1 (80).

Colossal sales, however, don't adequately capture the cultural tsunami that was Elvis Presley. From the moment of his first public performance (in 1954, on a flatbed truck at the Memphis fairgrounds), Elvis Presley electrified audiences with his crackling, up-tempo renditions of country and blues songs supported by some scandalous gyrations. Presley's vocal range gave him license to move freely between gospel ("Crying in the Chapel") and blues ("That's All Right") while joining other pioneers (Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard) in the seminal days of rock `n roll. By 1956, when Presley premiered on the Ed Sullivan Show, he was pulling a viewing audience of 54 million. He never looked back, riding the surge of a brand-new music form to immortality.

Star Wars Utapau Shadow Trooper 12" inch figure Sideshow (Used)

Star Wars Utapau Shadow Trooper 12" inch figure Sideshow (Used)

The brainchild of Armand Isard, Director of Republic Intelligence and Director-General of the Senate Bureau of Intelligence, the shadow trooper division was created mainly as a reconnaissance tool. Designed to augment the dwindling number of ARC troopers, shadow troopers operate singly or in pairs. They operate covertly, yet still in armor, posing as mercenaries of bounty hunters to slip quietly in and out of locations while quietly gathering intelligence.

Shadow trooper armor is based on standard Phase II clone armor. Strategically placed magseals allow the attachment of deceptive plating that alters the appearance of a shadow trooper. Different styles allow the shadow trooper to appear to be Hutt-hired mercenaries, Black Sun operatives, or independent bounty hunters. The plating is primarily cosmetic; it does disguise a clone trooper's sensor signature against detection devices. The plating also alters regular movement, preventing observers from recognizing the characteristic "clone gait."

When the Confederacy of Independent Systems stronghold was discovered on Utapau as General Grievous' hideout, a platoon of shadow troopers was assigned to infiltrate six sinkhole cities and place jammers that would allow the Republic army to invade without notice. Success of the shadow trooper division led to the creation of the Storm Commandos, as well as Blackhole's elite stormtrooper forces.
