In celebration of the new Godzilla motion picture, we begin to explore the classic decade-spanning franchise, with our first two offerings based on the 1985 and 1994 movie versions of the beloved monster Godzilla.

Classic Series 1 includes a version from Godzilla 1985 (originally titled The Return of Godzilla) and one from Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla.

Each figure stands over 6" tall, with a head-to-tail measurement of over 12" long.

They feature incredible detail and nearly 30 points of articulation.

Takara Tomy's redesigned new version of Masterpiece Convoy (Optimus Prime) is sculpted to more closely resemble the original animated version. This time, he is accompanied by both his transformable trailer with repair bay and Roller, as well as a figure of Spike, Optimus' orange Energy Ax, the Matrix of Leadership and his beam rifle (which also transforms). This version of Optimus is fully transformable and is sized to fit with the rest of the Masterpiece figures.

This figure includes a bonus coin holder (that actually contains a metal crown) and flame cover that goes on his sword. The box will be the same as the original MP-08 box.

We have also confirmed that the original MP-08 accessories are included.

Grimlock’s right fist features an LED function, and is accompanied by the beverage tray from the episode “Madman’s Paradise”. In keeping with the Gen 1 source material, MP-08 Grimlock is based upon the nostalgic tripod-stance concept of the tyrannosaurs; his robot mode offers a wider range of articulation than the Gen 1 version, and is reminiscent of his appearance in the original cartoon.

This new set includes Masterpiece versions of Rumble (in red) and Ravage. that transforms. The Masterpiece cassettes can fit in G1 Soundwave's chest as well as the G1 tapes fitting in Masterpiece Soundwave, increasing the play value of both figures!

The flat-nosed truck mode is outfitted with rubber wheels and working suspension; the robot mode's aesthetically-integrated articulation provides intricacies such as working finger joints and adjustable mouthplate. MP-01B Masterpiece Convoy's opening chest housing grants access to a red-illuminated Matrix of Leadership simulacrum. MP-10B Masterpiece Convoy is a droid duplicate of Convoy's new Black Body, constructed by Autobot scientist Wheeljack and Microman renegade Ga'mede, as a countermeasure to the Decepticons' ravening energy raids; these duplicates, a consignment of twenty-one droids known as Eldedroids, are remote-controlled by Cassette Warrior Flip Sides.
